15th LaBS International Banking Workshop

The Laboratory for Banking Studies HSE (LaBS) organizes the 15th LaBS International Banking Workshop "Banking in Emerging Markets: Challenges and Opportunities". We invite paper submissions for a workshop to be held both online and in person at the HSE University, Moscow.
The workshop is aimed at bringing together scholars involved in both theoretical and empirical research in all fields of banking and household finance. The organizing committee particularly welcomes submissions on the current issues concerning banking in emerging and developing markets.
Each paper accepted for presentation will be assigned a discussant.
The workshop will be held on October 30st, 2026.
Submission deadline is August 15th, 2026.
Format: hybrid
Location: 11 Pokrovsky Boulevard, HSE, Moscow, Russia and online
