13th LaBS International Banking Workshop "Banking in Emerging Markets: Challenges and Opportunities": call for papers

We are happy to announce that the Laboratory for Banking Studies (LaBS HSE) organizes the 13^th Annual LaBS Banking Workshop "Banking in Emerging Markets: Challenges and Opportunities".  The workshop will be held on Friday, November 1^st , 2024, at the HSE University, Moscow and online. Submission deadline is September 10^th , 2024.

The workshop is aimed at bringing together scholars involved in both theoretical and empirical research in all fields of banking and household finance. The organizing committee particularly welcomes submissions on the current issues concerning banking in emerging and developing markets. Each paper accepted for presentation will be assigned a discussant.  

Keynote speaker is Lucy Chernykh,Wells Fargo Professor of Banking, Clemson University.
