14 th LaBS International Banking Workshop

The Laboratory for Banking Studies HSE (LaBS) organizes the 14th LaBS International Banking Workshop "Banking in Emerging Markets: Challenges and Opportunities". Submit your paper by August, 28th.
This annual international workshop is aimed at bringing together scholars involved in both theoretical and empirical research in all fields of Banking or Household finance. The organizing committee particularly welcomes submissions on the current issues concerning banking in emerging and developing markets.
The workshop will be held on Friday, October 31st, 2025, at the HSE University (Pokrovsky blvd, 11, room T-510) and online.
Keynote speaker is Lucy Chernykh, Wells Fargo Professor of Banking, Clemson University.
Submission deadline was August 28th, 2025.
Because of the workshop format, allowing for detailed presentations and extensive discussions, only a small number of papers will be accepted for presentation. There is no conference fee.
